Jane Pickworth is a British Voice Actor, Puppeteer and Visual Artist
I trained at the Guildford School of Acting and have worked extensively in theatre and television for a variety of producers and broadcasters including BBC Children's, The Jim Henson Company, Disney, Channel 4 and CiTV.
I am a versatile voice actor with broadcast credits including CBeebies' Love Monster, CBeebies' Numtums, Fun Song Factory for CiTV and various other promos, commercials and audio books. I am a confident singer and my voice range encompasses child-like voices right through to deeper resonating tones perfect for monsters, animals and zombies.
I also trained with the Jim Henson Company and my puppeteering credits include: CBBC's Bad Penny, principal puppet character, Harry, for CiTV's Fun Song Factory, CBBC's Smile, CBeebies/Sesame's The Furchester Hotel, Tutter on the Bear in the Big Blue House international live tour and the Badger and Sunflowers in Beth Orton's 'Conceived' music video.
As a visual artist, my most recent credit is the design of the Supertato logo for the BBC Studios Kids & Family CBeebies series.
Additionally, my production credits include EastEnders and Grange Hill for BBC Drama, The Tweenies, the UK tour of Barnum and Playdays & Rainbow Days Live theatre tours on which I was the acting understudy and puppeteer.

I have had the honour and the pleasure of working with Jane on various television projects. She provides voice and puppetry skills that always take my comedy to levels I don’t expect. I wrote two series of an extremely surreal kids’ sitcom called Bad Penny for CBBC, and Jane brought to life many strange characters: A bigoted sock; a preachy gospel mouse; a wise pie and even an unpleasant duvet, to name but a few. Her gifts are tremendous, and she is my one-stop-shop for puppetry and voices. I thoroughly recommend the legend that is Jane Pickworth.
